The Drone Unit of ILP Perai has once again been entrusted as the Technical Committee for the DronEroTeach 1.0 State-Level Competition in Penang, as part of the 2024 Digital STEM Education Innovation Project (PeslnPro 2.0), which will be held at the end of August 2024.

This competition is organized by the Penang Education Technology Sector in collaboration with SEAMEO RESCAM and the Industrial Training Institute (ILP) Perai. The aim of this project is to promote professionalism and the culture of Digital STEM Education among educators.

In preparation for the competition, the Penang Education Technology Sector initiated a Drone Integration Workshop for DronEroTeach 1.0 at SEAMEO RESCAM, Penang.

The workshop was officially opened by Mr. Haji Wan Sajiri bin Wan Hassan, Deputy Director (Planning and Management Sector of PPD), Penang State Education Department.

The workshop aimed to provide participants with insights into the regulations and methods of drone operation. A total of 60 teachers (30 groups) from schools around Penang participated in this workshop. To facilitate the session, 6 officers from the Drone Unit, along with 2 officers from the IoT Unit and 4 students from the Computer Systems Technology program, assisted.
