On December 23, 2024, a delegation from the Industrial Training Institute (ILP) Perai paid an official visit to Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd, located in Batu Kawan, Penang. The delegation was led by ILP Perai Director, TS. Tuan Hj Yuslan Bin Yasok, accompanied by Tn Hj Rahim, Puan Poova, Pn Zaitul Iradah, and En. Mohd Faizul Afzan. Also present was En. Razi Mohd Ali, the Automotive Industry Technical Advisor (TAC) of ILP Perai from Honda Melaka Branch.

The ILP Perai delegation was warmly received by representatives from Boon Siew Honda, including Muhamad Syahir Bin Ramli (Section Head – Associates Relations & Development), Rosidan Bin Haron (Chief HR & Administration Officer), and Tay Mei Thing (Executive, Human Resources Section).

Objectives of the Visit

1. To foster closer relationships between the training institution and the industry.
2. To exchange ideas and build strategic networks between both parties.
3. To introduce the courses offered by ILP Perai to Honda’s staff and employees.
4. To establish mutually beneficial strategic collaborations.

As part of the visit, the delegation was given a tour of the motorcycle manufacturing area at the Boon Siew Honda factory. The visit offered valuable insights into the production process, starting from the initial stages to the final assembly of motorcycles.

This visit is expected to pave the way for a strong partnership between ILP Perai and Boon Siew Honda, contributing to the development of skilled human capital and supporting the growth of the nation’s industrial sector.
