8 January 2025 – ILP Perai recently hosted an accreditation panel visit for its Certificate and Diploma in Welding Technology programs. The visit aimed to evaluate the program’s compliance with the Code of Practice for TVET Program Accreditation (COPTPA) to ensure the quality of skills training meets industry standards.

The visit commenced with an opening meeting attended by the Director of ILP Perai and the accreditation panel, led by Pn Roslinda binti Mohd Khalid, alongside Ts. Azahar bin Abdul Rahman and En. Kamal bin Abu@Ahmad. Representatives from the institute delivered a comprehensive presentation on the program structure, facilities, and student achievements.

The panel then conducted a thorough review of evidence, including curriculum documents, student records, and welding workshop facilities. The visit concluded with a closing meeting where the panel provided positive feedback along with suggestions for improvements to further enhance the quality of the program.
