PERAI, 25 February – The Industrial Training Institute (ILP) Perai continues to strengthen its role as Malaysia’s leading automation training hub through the implementation of Siemens Automation Certified Programs. This program aims to produce a future-ready workforce skilled in digital and automation technologies, with globally recognized certification.

Through a strategic collaboration between SG TVET Group and Siemens, this program offers industry-standard training, encompassing infrastructure sharing, capacity building for trainers, and student integration at both local and international levels.

SG TVET Group, as one of Siemens’ Authorized Training Centers, plays a crucial role in this initiative. The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) marked the participation of eight training institutions under the Department of Human Resources, namely:

1. Advanced Technology Training Centre (ADTEC) Melaka
2. Industrial Training Institute Pedas
3. Industrial Training Institute Miri
4. Industrial Training Institute Perai
5. Industrial Training Institute Bukit Katil
6. Industrial Training Institute Marang
7. Industrial Training Institute Kota Samarahan
8. Industrial Training Institute Kota Kinabalu

This collaboration signifies a significant step in strengthening the country’s technical and vocational education and training (TVET) sector, in line with Malaysia’s aspirations towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0).
