ILP PERAI AND AKADEMI BATERIKU SIGN MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION TO ENHANCE TVET GRADUATES’ EMPLOYABILITY
Shah Alam, 19 February 2025 – The Industrial Training Institute (ILP) Perai, under the Department of Human Resources, Ministry of Human Resources, today signed and exchanged a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with Akademi Bateriku and Bateriku (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“Bateriku.com”) in a ceremony held at Akademi Bateriku’s main campus in TTDI Jaya. This MoC marks a significant milestone in strengthening the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) ecosystem, which is increasingly in high demand in Malaysia.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Director-General of the Department of Human Resources, Datuk Rospiagos bin Taha, alongside ILP Perai Director, Ts. Haji Yuslan bin Yasok, and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bateriku.com, Azarol Faizi bin Zakaria Ansari. Also present was the Deputy Director-General of JTM, Ts. Kamaruzaman bin Md. Ali.
Through this collaboration, both parties are committed to enhancing the employability of ILP graduates nationwide and jointly developing Hybrid and EV training programs to strengthen the future workforce’s skills at ILP campuses across the country.
This strategic partnership is expected to open up more training and employment placement opportunities for ILP graduates, aligning with the growing needs of the automotive industry. With this collaboration, ILP Perai and Akademi Bateriku aim to produce a highly skilled workforce ready to meet market demands while contributing to a more sustainable and competitive national workforce.
